Welcome to the 5K women's Run volunteer recruitment and registration page. Here you will find out about the roles and responsibilities required for our event on Friday November 11th, 2011.

The volunteers are a crucial element to the success of the day and the event could not go ahead without your support, so please take a look at our new interactive website and register your place to be a key part of a fantastic team of supporters. We would strongly recommend that, before clicking on “Register Here”, you click through the tabs on this page to familiarise yourself with the options available.

We are recruiting 80 support staff – because the event will be even Bigger and Better than our inaugural race so be under no illusion – we need you!

The majority of the roles are stewarding but other “Specific Roles” include:

• Baggage Loaders
• Chip Retrieval Experts
• Winning Circle Corral Monitor
• Charity Village Staff
• Registration Staff
• Road Marshals
• Stage Managers

You’ll be outfitted out in 5K attire. There will be a full training session taking place in October to bring you up to speed about the day and what is expected of you. We are planning great post race activities and hope that with the 2012 Olympics just around the corner we can encourage you to become a part of the 5k womens Run’s history making and our sporting legacy as the Run grows.
